Our 4-Panel Digipak offers a unique look for any disc project. This packaging option combines the look of our Wallet with a disc tray similar to a jewel case. Our Digipak is printed on heavy duty card stock and has a flap that folds over like a book with a spine. Choose from three different paper types to complete the look you want. Premium Gloss Card Stock Our most popular choice of paper to print Digipaks. This card stock has a gloss finish and gloss aqueous coating on the printed surfaces for protection. Stock is heavy card stock and is the most common style you see in the market place for Digipak printing. Also eco-friendly because it uses at least 10% post consumer waste product in the production of the paper.

This is the same stock as our Premium Gloss Card Stock but with a matte aqueous coating to make the finished printed Digipak dull or matte rather than glossy. Great alternative if you want a sophisticated dull finish. Easier to read type on this finish since it is not as glossy. The matte aqueous coating on the printed surfaces also enhances protection. Stock is heavy card stock. Eco-friendly because it uses at least 10% post consumer waste product in the production of the paper. May add 2-4 days to your requested production time.

You can now choose from three paper options when printing your own customized Digipak. We have it all from Premium Gloss Coated Card stock to Premium Matte Coated Card stock and now our new Retro Uncoated Card stock. All options are the same thickness but the finish is different. Just the right options to fit your design. See detailed descriptions of each option below. Matte Coated and Retro Uncoated options may add from 2-4 business days to the quoted production time, please keep this in mind when ordering. If you order printed inserts (for the inside of the Digipak) or posters with your Digipak order they will be printed on gloss paper stock, not matte coated or retro uncoated. If you want the posters and/or inserts to match the Digipak then order the Premium Gloss Card Stock for your Digipak and everything will have the same finish. Contact your CSR for more details. Retro Uncoated Card Stock NEWWe use an uncoated heavy card stock to create a retro look that will make your Digipak stand out from the crowd. Completely dull uncoated finish. Great alternative if you want a more retro and eco-friendly looking Digipak. Eco-friendly because it uses at least 10% post consumer waste product in the production of the paper and no aqueous coating.

If you choose this option then there will not be a slit or pocket on the inside of the Digipak/Digihub that would be used to hold a printed booklet. You may still order a printed booklet but it would just “float” on the inside of the package and would not be secure.

We will create a slit in the inside front of the package that is designed to hold a booklet insert. This is the most cost effective way to add a place that will securely hold an insert. If you choose this option along with one of our printed insert booklets we will also insert it for you at no additional cost.

We will create a pocket much like a pocket folder has on the inside front of the package. This will accommodate a slightly larger printed insert than a slit will, but it also costs more.

This is a great way to add more print space to your disc package. A 2 panel insert is trimmed to 4.75 x 4.75 inches and printed on both sides. Please see the specs and templates reference for 2 panel CD inserts.

A 4 panel insert is trimmed to 9.50 x 4.75 inches, folded in half and printed on both sides. Please see the specs and templates reference for 4 panel CD inserts.

A 6 panel insert is trimmed to 14.187 x 4.75 inches and printed on both sides. Please see the specs and templates reference for 6 panel CD inserts.

An 8 page book insert is trimmed to 4.75 x 4.75 inches and printed on all pages. Please see the specs and templates reference for 8 page booklets.

An 12 page book insert is trimmed to 4.75 x 4.75 inches and printed on all pages. Please see the specs and templates reference for 8 page booklets.

Digipaks can be assembled with your choice of plastic tray to hold the disc. The two color options available include clear and black. Clear is by far the most popular because it allows the printing behind the disc tray to show through.

Digihubs do not come with a plastic tray. Your CD will be held by a rubber hub.

7 business days means that your project will ship from our plant on the 8th business day after your approval is accepted and reviewed by Crystal Clear.

Crystal Clear can create a barcode for you to add to your final artwork. You will receive an email asking for important information regarding your barcode shortly after placing your order. After you submit the information we will provide you with a barcode to add to your art. The recommended size for your barcode is one and a half inches wide and one-half inch tall.The cost of the barcode is a one time fee. If you produce this same package again there will not be an additional charge for the barcode. Barcodes are great if you intend to sell your product in a retail environment. Otherwise it may not be necessary to add a barcode. Pricing does not change with quantity of discs ordered. There are some limitations to registering barcodes and it is your responsibility to register your own barcode for tracking purposes (easy to do, just ask your CSR), please contact your CSR for additional details.
